Green Energy

Green energy refers to an energy source that is not damaging to the environment and is infinitely renewable. In many minds, the transition to these types of energy sources is vital to the future of mankind, as well as the planet in general. Many experts believe that our current energy production methods are not only unsustainable, but are proving to be an ecological disaster.

Green energy can come from a number of sources. Biofuels, as well as wave and geothermal power, are just some of the possible energy solutions. However, solar and wind power are currently the two powerhouses of the alternative energy industry.

Solar power has been used for decades as a means of green energy production. However, until recently, these power systems were fairly inefficient. Today’s solar panels are vastly superior to those used just a few years ago.
